Summer has been fun!

It’s been awhile since I updated here, time flies! We’ve been getting together with a group of friends for what we call “Second Saturday Science Day”- basically science themed play dates. Our last one was at Frontiers of Flight, the aviation museum. Juniper loved it and couldn’t stop talking about the space shuttle and helicopters.
One of the rare times he sat still was in the model seats for various aircraft-

As part of our trip we did an activity with paper airplanes and talked about aerodynamics.

Of course, there’s also plently of pure play going on, and one of Juni’s favorite things is still water!

rolling in snow!
Before we made it all the way home, Juniper just had to roll in the snow! We tried to tell him how to make a snow angel, but that didn’t go so well– he had so much fun though!

Dallas got a foot of snow! Juni and dad were both home, so guess what we did!

Halloween Fun!

Juniper decided he wanted to dress like an ambulance driver for Halloween. I figured this out basically just by listening to what he showed interest in, giving him a couple of choices (pictures helped!) and letting him decide. He ran around all day saying “ambulance!” and “EMT!” We went trick or treating at the mall, which was fun but very hectic- which is why we only have a few pictures.
